Big summer issue – what to wear…..

Editor in Chief: Beatrix Miller
Associate Editor/Features: Drusilla Beyfus (mother of Alexandra Shulman)
Fashion Editors: Shelia Wetton, Elizabeth Tilberis, Anna Harvey

More than many issues of Vogue this has a host of famous faces from the Princess of Wales, the Queen Mother and Princess Anne, Princess Margaret to David Essex, Placido Domingo, Billy Connolly, Freddie Mercury, Louise de la Falaise, and Sting, this plus masses of inspiring fashion. The advertisements take one back to a different time, John Noakes and Skip from Blue Peter promoting Ireland, and numerous ads promoting a deep, dark tan, this and the cigarette advertisements chart a change of attitude. This magazine is an interesting read as well as a lovely vintage souvenir.

Detailed Condition Report of the magazine on sale:
CONDITION:
This vintage magazine is in very good condition throughout. The cover is bright and smooth, note the top 2 cm of the spine missing but the rest is strong, clean and white - see the 2nd photo. The internal pages are clean and sharp.
STILL IN VOGUE has a policy of honesty in the description of the vintage and used magazines we sell. This may work against us in that we draw attention to damage and it sounds much worse than it is. Not all vintage magazine sellers offer individual condition reports so one is left to assume their magazines are all in mint condition. We hope however that you, the buyer, appreciate that we want to supply you with goods that will match or exceed your expectations and not dash them.
