This antique oval platter from England's Davenport pottery is a true Victorian gem. With a flow blue finish and an intricate Amoy pattern, this handcrafted stoneware piece is a unique addition to any collection. Measuring 16 1/2 inches in length and 13 inches in width, it's perfect for serving or displaying. Made in the mid-19th century, this original piece is rare. The incised backstamp adds to its charm, while the glossy finish gives it a timeless appeal. Care instructions include hand wash only and of course, never in a microwave (Duh!).  This antique platter is a testament to the fine pottery production techniques of the mid 1800's, and a must-have for any lover of vintage and oriental-themed decor.  The platter has a small chip on the back that can be seen in the photo.  It does not go to the edge, so can't be seen when the platter is flat or hanging on the wall.
