Pair of Mid 19th Century 1820-60 Large Victorian Turned Oak Candlesticks - Attractive & Wax Polished.

Large attractive and heavy and easily dateable with the single brass piece at the top - the style is typical 1820-60 with the design of four curvilinear D shapes.

Octagonal bases.

They have no fabric surface protectors just simple wood - no evidence they ever had any.

These are very attractive, waxed, they have the beautiful oak colours they have two problems - one is missing it's decorative brass candle holder at the top, and one has a stress crack in the base, it doesn't go right through and could be stabilized with a little wood glue last photo.

Combined weight of 1kg.

29cms in height.

The bases are 13cms across.
