Here for your consideration is a beautiful, elegant and rare, vintage, sterling silver, engine turned, vacant cartouche, rectangular shaped, card case by the silversmiths Whitehall Silver.

A stunning piece of workmanship, fully hallmarked. This superb silver card case is stamped WW for Whitehall silver, who specialised in small silver items such as card cases. It also has the anchor mark for the Birmingham assay office, lion passant, 925 for sterling silver, and the date letter 'Z' for 1999.

Considering this card case is nearly 25 years old it's in lovely original condition with no damage or repairs. It does have some age-related silver patina/patination, commensurate with its age, but nothing unusual.
