Modified X2100 ThinkPad (Based on X200/X201)

This is a modified version of the X200/X201 Thinkpad, with a custom 51nb Motherboard with 10710u hexa-core processor. This is the newest version of the 51nb motherboards with all the revised fixes (4th batch). Everything is pretty much custom except the outer shell and a few X201 parts.

Custom larger copper processor heat cooler and fan with extra heat sink bars, runs super cool. Overclocked and undervolted for super fast running, quiet fans and long battery life. I’ve set this up as a Hackintosh running the latest Mac OS Sonoma, but also triple boot to Windows and Linux. Everything works native in MacOS including continuity and AirDrop.

Batteries:

Two 6 cell genuine batteries, one was new last month, the other is two years old and still holds a good charge. Genuine good condition batteries are becoming hard to find.

16MB MX25L12835F SOIC-8 BIOS EEPROM Chip.

TPS65987 USB-C PD chip enabling 20V USB-C charging.

BQ24725 charge controller.

Original Lenovo barrel charger included.

Quirks/Bad bits: There are two things to mention:

• There's a strange issue when shutting down sometimes. When it is powered off for some time without an external power source, there's a 20second delay before it powers on. I'm not sure the cause. Online on the forums it suggests something to do with the ME BIOS settings but I haven't been able to find the cause.
• There are some pink marks on screen when fully black. Very faint but the display works perfectly. I have a spare replacement screen and it’s very easy to swap, I just didn’t see it necessary because when I use it’s not noticeable. Spare display is included in the sale, and I could be interested in swapping it over in advance if required. The marks are only visible on a completely black display, and very faint. 

I also have a number of X201 spares including a touchpad palm rest which can be easily swapped if you prefer touchpad, and numerous different keyboards to choose from.

I would prefer to completely wipe everything back to standard, but if you are looking to retain mutli-boot operating systems please let me know, I just might need a few days to prepare as a blank setup.
