One of the most popular basketball manga ever, Slam Dunk was originally created by Takehiko Inoue in 1990 and ended in 1996. The story is about a delinquent freshman called Hanamichi Sakuragi. This poor fellow who has red hair is extremely unpopular with girls and have been rejected an astonishing fifty times. He ends up meeting the girl of his dreams, Haruko Akagi who turns out to the the younger sister of the school's basketball team's captain - Takenori Akagi.

In order to impress Haruko, Sakuragi who is extremely athletic ends up joining the high school's basketball team (Shohoku) and battles star freshman Rukawa for Haruko's affection. Along with second year players featuring ex-junior high MVP, Hisashi Mitsui and point guard Ryota Miyago would transform the once little-known Shohoku team into a powerhouse at the national tournament.

This oversized large print manga (7 in x 10 in) was printed on February 24, 2023 in commemoration of the highly anticipated "THE FIRST SLAM DUNK" movie that came out in Japan in January. This commemorative book is a collection of the 24 most popular chapters in Slam Dunk and totals 520 pages. It's published by 尖端出版 (SPP publishing) in Taiwan and is in traditional Mandarin Chinese 繁體中文. The manga is brand new.
