Ensign British Made : Magic Lantern Slide Wooden Storage Box C1920 : 50 slides

Edwardian slide box, manufactured by Ensign and marked on the inside top lid with their branding (and the Ensign flag dating this box to post 1911).

Completely original, still with its index page and dividers.  The dividers in places have become unstuck, although with slides in place these would be pushed back out.  The front center of the box has bowed forward with the lid now slightly back from the body of the box (I would guess that maybe the slides have forced it outward slightly over the years).

The inside space for slides is approx 8.2 x 8.2 cms.

Size:

Outside :
Length: 37.5 cm
Height: 8.2 cms
Depth: 10.2 cms

Most of the items I sell are vintage and therefore not new and not perfect.  I describe everything to the best of my ability and do try to note all wear and tear.  Please examine photographs, these will show the item in detail and I try to photograph each item from all sides.  If you have any questions - please do ask.

Postage is quoted for mainland UK only.  Delivery to any remote area or off-shore island is dependent on weight and services.  Please contact me for a quote before purchasing.

I use various courier firms or the Royal Mail if I can fit within their size restrictions.  If you wish to use a specific carrier, please let me know immediately, if an item has already left me it is then beyond my ability, but there maybe a fee associated with a more expensive courier service.

Please note I can only send items to the address that is registered with Paypal, to be covered under their seller protection.  If a buyer wishes to have an item sent to a different address, this address will need to be uploaded and saved with paypal and selected at time of purchase.  I also cannot change a delivery address days after I have sent an item.

The coin in the photos is a 10p and used as an illustration of size only.

Offers on fixed priced items will be ignored.  The "best price" is the price the item is listed at.  As I still receive endless "offers" on items, please note if you feel it necessary to send me these requests this may result in you being blocked from buying any current or future items.  I believe the price I ask for items is fair and reasonable.  For any listings which feature a "best offer", I use the ebay automated accept/reject system and cheeky offers are automatically rejected.

Please do leave feedback, as this shows the item has been received and the buyer is happy.  I only leave feedback on receipt of feedback.
