Visconti UFFIZI VERMEIL Limited Edition Fountain Pen #323/500

the very first limited edition of Visconti. In 1993 Visconti produced an edition to raise funds to restore the Florence Uffizi museum, one of the oldest museums in the world, which had been severely damaged by a terrorist bomb. 500 pens with a sterling silver and 500 with a vermeil overlay were made.

The nib was switched to an bi-color 18k Extra Fine nib, the original one is no longer available. The pen writes butter smooth without any scratch feelings.

Please do check the last two Photos, there is a deplating spot on the clip; and there is a notch in the thread opening. Minor Scratches are observed on the metal parts.

Original outer and inner box and documentation. Interchange of the certificates (vermeil, sterling silver) by a mistake of Visconti or the retailer. Please no further discussion.
