These boxes are sealed from the Mint. Inside are 36 coins total, in Two Mylar packages. One from the Denver Mint and One from the Philadelphia mint, plus a COA included on each folder. Mint code on the box is U09.

Given the metallic composition used for the 2009 one cent coins -- the same used for the original 1909 Lincoln Cents -- the alloy readily tarnishes. The United States Mint has used anti-tarnish treatments to minimize this impact on the appearance of the coins. However, the alloy used for the one-cent coins are expected to tarnish more over time than the previous years' plated zinc one-cent coins.

The Denver set has the 'D' mint mark and includes a Sacagawea Golden Dollar, Kennedy Half Dollar, six quarters issued for the territories and includes the District of Columbia (Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, Virgin Islands and Northern Mariana Islands), Roosevelt Dime, Jefferson nickel, and Four Lincoln Cents (depicting Lincoln's life) using the same metallic composition used in the original 1909 Lincoln cents. Also included are the four President dollar coins. William H. Harrison, John Tyler, James K. Polk and Zachary Taylor.

The Philadelphia set has the 'P' mint mark (except the cent) and includes a Sacagawea Golden Dollar, Kennedy Half Dollar, six quarters issued for the territories and includes the District of Columbia (Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, Virgin Islands and Northern Mariana Islands), Roosevelt Dime, Jefferson nickel, and Four Lincoln Cents (depicting Lincoln's life) using the same metallic composition used in the original 1909 Lincoln cents. Also included are the four President dollar coins. William H. Harrison, John Tyler, James K. Polk and Zachary Taylor.
