A magnificent view - Seto ware Yama chawan -
Era: Kamakura Period 
When checking the base (Kodai), remnants of husk laid underneath are present. The clay is quite sticky, and the glaze applied is not a natural glaze but an applied one. From these characteristics, it is identifiable as the clay used for Seto ware tea bowls from the Kamakura period. During Japan's medieval era, Seto kilns became the only production site for glazed pottery in the country.

The box has a sticker with the collection number from the owner's private collection, indicating that it has been very well cared for.
