A nice portable MiniDisk player/recorder from Sharp. Unfortunately it no longer works properly - half the time, it won't read the disc when inserted, and if it does, it'll only play one or two tracks. Rarely it'll play the whole disk - when it does deign to do that, the sound is great. It's not the discs, as it will sometimes play a particular disc, then not - and the discs work fine in an MD deck.
Looks like a service could sort it out - might simply need a lens clean :)
Other than not reading the disc, everything else is fine - all buttons and the display work. The remote control works fine too. The pictures show the unit being powered both with the add-on battery pack, and with an adaptor (I used a generic adaptor, as I no longer have the original). The battery no longer charges, and is not supplied due to Royal Mail restrictions.
Supplied with original box, manual, remote and headphones, external battery pack, but not the optical cable or adaptor.
