Vintage ST JOHN Size 10/12 Large Brown Stretch Wool-Knit & Leather Skirt Suit USA
Beautiful vintage St. John skirt suit made of St. John's classic "Santana" stretch
wool-blend knit with a textured finish. Dark/chocolate brown in color, the blazer has
shoulder pads and a button down front closure with large round brass and brown
enamel buttons, each embossed with the classic St. John "SJ" monogram in
the centers as shown in close-up photos. Collar is trimmed in dark brown leather
and cuffs have decorative straps with matching buttons as shown. Skirt is the
matching color and material of the blazer with a stretch waist and no closures.
Suit is in excellent and clean pre-owned/vintage condition showing just typical
signs of light previous use and wear one might expect.
As for sizing, blazer is marked size 12 (large) and skirt a size 10 Medium) as shown
in photo #2 however as the suit is vintage and sizes have changed over time,
I am listing the suit as a current day size "Large" based on measurements.
Please refer to the following measurements and/or compare to your best fitting
blazer & skirt to ensure a proper fit. Measurements are taken while garments
are lying flat and buttoned up. With all measurements please take into
account the stretchy nature of the knit fabric.
