This "Let's Spend The Night Together" is actually a version "superior" to the previous DVD, both in sound and video. I like this much more than the Hampton but it's all a matter of taste. Perhaps because this was the first video concert of The Rolling Stones I saw in my teens, I keep some affection for this.

I enjoyed it when it first came out and owned the vhs for years. However, the difference with this bluray, in both sound and picture over the VHS, is huge.
While I was watching last night, it hit me. I really think I prefer this over Hampton myself - and Hampton is the one I saw on pay TV when it aired live. So, I've always had a sentimental connection to that show. When I remove that sentiment, this one wins hands down. The pace and tempo of the songs seem to be somewhere between Hampton and Roundhay.
The camera angles are fantastic. I love the shots overhead and from behind the stage looking out to the crowd. Hal Ashby did a great job with closeups, picking the expressions on bandmember faces.

If you use little gloves for booklet handling and you make sure the disc is facing correctly in the jewel case or you make sure side 1 of a vinyl is facing up when you pull a record out of the paper sleeve, then this item is NOT for you due to its less than Mint condition. :)

About jewel cases:
I do the best I can to avoid jewel cases from being cracked, but unfortunately that happens in shipping on occasion. There is nothing I can do to prevent damage if an elephant happens to step on your parcel... :)
Discogs has this to say about those damn jewel cases: "Standard Jewel Cases are not graded as they are replaceable."
However, I will ALWAYS describe the condition of jewel cases.
