Up for sale here we have a 1990 Volkswagen Golf in original form, which is a rarity this day and age!

Unfortunately it has been off the road since 2012 and stood on the gentleman’s driveway since, which has been hard standing which has kept the underside in the condition you see it  ( I have attached pictures to show the underside to show the front jacking point areas and rear beam mounts) 

The engine doesn’t currently run but turns over on the key, I have spent a couple of hours looking into the issue and I believe it to be a lack of spark, I have had it sparking but it has been very inconsistent as one minute there was a good spark then the next it was very weak, it could benefit from a new ignition system (I would do this but with other projects on the go I don’t really have the time and space for it unfortunately) the cooling system is still filled with anti freeze from the day it was stood so shows no signs of leaks 

The interior is in good condition but will benefit from a major deep clean! 

Unfortunately at some point in its life it’s had a minor hit in the rear end which has bent the boot floor up a small amount, it wouldn’t take much to sort atall, the boot still shuts as it should 

The bodywork is in good condition for the age, the bonnet has seen a bit off damage (the gentleman I bought it from sed he had a small brick wall fall onto it) I have been reluctant to give it a wash as I’ll leave that to the new owner to decide which way they go with it, and get the enjoyment of washing all the greenery and dirt away to!
