RAMONES WC '77 early one-night-only performance from the greatest punk rock band ever!A VERY RARE POSTER OF THE RAMONES !!!A CLASSIC CONCERT POSTER FROM THE RAMONES -RARE AND HARD TO FIND FROM 1977 ,AN EARLY PUNK CONCERT IN  SEATTLE !!! WOW !!!

The Ramones 1977 Seattle, WA Concert Poster. A cardboard poster for a headlining set of the Ramones (with Meyce opening) at the Olympic Hotel's Georgian Room on a Sunday night in March in downtown Seattle. The year 1977 is known as the year punk rock broke, as bands from England exploded in popularity thanks to influence from US bands like the Ramones, the New York Dolls, and the Stooges. This show was when the Ramones were in its original line-up with drummer Tommy Ramone providing the steady backbeat.

A CLASSIC POSTER FROM THE BIRTH OF PUNK ROCK  111111111  !!!!!!!!!!

Seattle was seen a town not worth going to for the big bands of the day, as it was thousands of miles away from the big towns in California. But for punk bands, they repeatedly played the town, and made a lasting impact on those in the Pacific Northwest. (Those who would start iconic grunge bands a few years later.)

Ramones, who were a punk rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) band from 1974 to 1996. All of the band members (Johnny, Joey, and Tommy) adopted pseudonyms ending with the surname "Ramone", although none of them were related. They are often cited as the first punk rock group and despite achieving only limited commercial success, the band was a major influence on the punk rock movement in both the United States and the United Kingdom. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002. Note that The Ramones were HUGE fans of E.C. horror comics of the 1950s!++++  Note that there are many fake rock 'n' roll posters circulating throughout collectible hobbies.   this window card directly from the drummer from Meyce (the band that was the undercard at this show), so it is certainly a genuine window card from that 1977 show! THANKS FOR LOOKING !!!
