To my mind this is the reel that really got the spinning reel revolution going. The Illingworth No3 came out in about 1914.  This is the exposed gear model in good working condition.  It is complete with original triangular box and spare spool and loaded with a fine casting line common for the time.  There is also a branded Illingworth parts packet.  The strap on the box is worn at the catch but could be repaired.  A very good example of this classic reel
