There is a top ring for adding a necklace.

I don't have a case but it does rest in a padded pencil box.

There is a small dent at the "Sterling" mark but this in no way affects performance or screwing & unscrewing the cap.

Lead advances by turning the dark blue/black barrel piece against the Sterling Silver upper shaft.
