This rare Death mask of the German Philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche 1844-1900.  The mask was originally from Berlin Germany. The death mask is life size at 11 high x 6 wide x 4 deep in inches and is made of a solid fine plaster. The mask has many stains, pits, age spots, and scratches. Please see pictures for details. The death mask looks even better in person. The mask is very strong and hangs from a rusty wire loop on the top of the head. The heads colors are a aged fine thin layer of  brown powdered bronze that is aged green in places.
