I purchased this beautiful Antique Carnelian "Ceres" Cameo loose., Ceres, Demeter is known for wearing Wheat in her hair & long wavy hanging tendrils, medieval style. She is in excellent condition. I permanently glued the cameo to a oval 2" Salesman Sample of Buckle Shoe Clips (without the shoe attachment accessory on the back). These Samples were made in late 1800s. Here I have used them for a setting for cameos. The micro silver beads were hand sewn in by artisan in late 1800, see example of bead size in 8th picture. Center black fabric is a type of velvet. I added a pendant bail & brooch clasp to back so it can be worn as a pendant or brooch.
