SUPERB VINTAGE SWISS OBSERVATOR 17 JEWELS 8 DAY LUCITE ORB DESK CLOCK ON STAND

Firstly, the clock is fully working, keeping good time. As I hope the pictures show, the wonderful Lucite orb that holds the clock mechanism is mounted on its original apple green Catalin? base measuring 3 3/4 inches diameter.  The orb itself measures 2 3/4 inches in diameter and obviously allows sight of the very smart and stylish black dial, with its gilded numerals and the superb Swiss movement. The dial is marked "Observator, 8 Days, 17 Jewels, Swiss Made", and has a subsidiary seconds dial above the number 6 position.

The clock is wound and the time set from the winder at the top. Condition: fully working, keeping good time. There are couple of very minor  scratches to the Lucite, but they are hardly noticeable.
