This is a beautiful, vintage Beswick 'Stocky Jogging Mare' horse figurine. It is a Palomino Gloss Model No.855, designed by Arthur Gredington. Production of this particular model began in 1947 and it was retired in 1989.

This is a lovely palomino with white mane and tail. It has one white sock and a raised leg. It is  a well proportioned model in a lovely stance with beautiful colouring. The design shows great attention to detail and it has a very expressive face. Unfortunately, it has been damaged, hence the low price. There is crazing and one ear has been chipped. Despite this, it would make a great entry point for someone wanting to add a low priced palomino to their collection.
