Rare Vintage 1960’s Tony the Clown Jouncing Jeep Wind-Up

This is an extremely rare “Tony el Payaso” (Tony the Clown) Jouncing Jeep tin toy (*)

All made of colorful litho tinplate with win-up mechanism and mystery action.

This vintage toy is shown and described on page #295 in the 'JUGUETES ARGENTINOS DE HOJALATA - Argentine Tinplate Toys' catalog-book by Diego Lascano and Daniel Sudalsky.

Made in Argentina by Halcon/Vispa. Co., circa 1964.

 

Dimensions:

7-1/4 inches (18.5 cm) lenght.

 

Condition:

All original and complete toy. It shows some wear from play with minor markings and scratches here and there (see picture #4 ). Otherwise, excellent overall condition and perfect working order.
