Sascha Brastoff (1981-1993) began his career in the Sculpture Center in Manhattan. Following World War II, he moved to Los Angeles. While in Los Angeles, he worked as a costume designer for Fox.
In 1948, Sascha Brastoff established a small pottery on Sepulveda Boulevard in West Lost Angeles. Winthrop Rockefeller provided some of the financing. Brastoff focused on design. Skilled technicians and decorators gave life to his designs.
