Ideal lens for photographing subjects at distance - perfect for wildlife, sports etc. 

Small and compact 500mm Mirror Lenses thats only 90mm in length so just a bit larger than the standard 18-55mm digital kit, but with a whopping focal length.

It can be used hand-held if light levels and your hold permits, but as with all powerful telephoto lenses best results will be achieved using a tripod though of course.  

Great for images at a distance like Sports / Wildlife / Astro.

This is a second-user item being in overall Very Good condition. 

It has been tested and is in 100% perfect working order.

The focus is manual only of course, being smooth and light throughout the range.

The optics are clear of any dust, dirt and haze.

There is one small black spot on the back of the small mirror (not visible under standard view but if you angle the lens to get a double mirror reflection) you can see it. The lens has been tested on a full frame DSLR and this has absolutely no impact on performance at all.

The aperture is fixed at F8 though you can fit front or rear ND filters should you wish to reduce the effective light pass.

This lens comes with the factory Tamron Adaptal mount so in itself will not fit any make of camera, but the advantage of this is you purchase and add a mount to suit your particular camera - be that film or digital - and it will then operate as intended, namely a high performance manual 500mm Mirror Lens.

The mounts vary in price, but generally are around £10 each - often cheaper for the less popular ones.

All metering and focus with this lens needs to be done manually.

Lens comes with front cap.  No rear cover as its adaptal.

Customer satisfaction is important to me, so should you not be happy with your item I offer a two-fold Returns policy as follows:

A. I offer a full refund / replacement for any item found to be faulty upon receipt.

B. I also offer a refund, within 30 days of purchase, for any item returned because the seller decided the item simply wasn't "quite what they wanted". In this situation I will refund the original purchase price, less whatever postage cost I incurred in sending the item to you. The buyer is also responsible for covering the return costs.

In both of the above scenarios, the item should be returned in the same condition it was purchased in.
