Honda CB350K3 Cafe Racer Street Tracker Flat Tracker 1971 US import now UK reg on a J plate, Tax and MOT exempt , historic vehicle classification, V5 present and in my name.
Lots of work done to get it to this standard
Engine
Engine
removed from the frame and stripped , top end vapour blasted , then
rebuilt with new standard pistons and rings (cylinder bore showed very
little wear) new seals , gaskets, cam
chain and tensioner roller fitted
New internal kickstart springs fitted to bottom end,
( David Silver spares),
gearbox checked, cases cleaned and re assembled.
Carbs
were beyond refurb so I have fitted brand new PWK ( Keihin copies)
carbs and inlet rubbers , and after some testing, and jet changing I think I have the jetting just about
right , ( a range of jets come with the bike) but may need minor
adjustment once the bike is run in and revved fully.
Outer cases vapour blasted and powder coated, new JIS casing screws used throughout.
Frame
This had already been modified to secure the Cafe Racer seat unit. I got it powder coated along with the stand and swinging arm, the finish is superb.
The wheels are as it came to me , black painted rims with new (old stock) tyres
The petrol tank has been professionally painted in Honda CB G5 blue.New petrol tap fitted.New tank badges
Brand new Delkevic 2 into 1 exhaust fitted, and sounds superb
New clutch and brake cables fitted, new drive chain, new gel battery.
It did have ace bars fitted, i have just fitted flat bars for extra comfort,
Fit a different seat unit and its a flat tracker street tracker, bobber, easily build your own custom bike, all the hard work has been done
Starts
on the button , everything works bar the kill switch which is missing
its internal mechanism. Engine is super quiet mechanically.
