Gorgeous one year old Dale Chavez West Coast Reiner in hard to find BLACK!! I had Dale design and make this for my mare one year ago. Sadly we found out she has to be retired from riding. I never dreamed I'd be selling this beauty but here it is along with a matching full sized headstall made by Dale Chavez. I used this saddle for western dressage, but it would also be perfect for ranch, trail riding, show or even reining that it was designed for. I have two of these west coast reiners. I have ridden with Lynn Palm a few times and she has remarked over and over about what a great saddle Dale makes and what an amazing position it puts you in. It is a FULL QH bar tree. By measuring it is built on a 16" seat padded to approximately 15-15 1/2 seat. I'm 5'7" and I have lots of room to go up or down on the stirrup length. I have room in the seat as you can see in the photo of myself riding the black mare that had to be retired. I also included a photo of it on my chestnut because it looks fantastic on him as well!  I'm sure gray and bay would be super stunning as well! It has a shortened skirt. Dale's shortened skirt is 26 inches but as you can see from the photos this one may even be a hair shorter than that. This saddle is perfect for your short backed horses!! Both horses pictured are approximately 14.1 hands.  It also has a butterfly cut in the skirt under the fenders. This gets you closer to the horse so you can feel what's going on better.  There is a touch of rose gold even on those silver conchos. It was barely rode in, before we found out the mare had to be retired. It is in like new condition with one tiny spot on the seat that you will be sitting on. I just can't say enough good things about this saddle. You are getting an almost new saddle and headstall without the new price. A saddle bag will also be included. Pad and stand not included.
