MAY 1968: “He is for the student the one who studies himself”

During the events of May 1968, the publisher Tchou decided to collect a selection of the most significant posters in order to preserve the testimony of this popular, student and artistic expression.

He then works with the printing companies most involved in the movement: Cogery, Cabasson and du Griffon so that his edition is as close as possible (paper, printing technique) to the posters circulating in the streets.

The authors of these posters are sometimes artists who will become famous: Alechinsky, Calder, Effel, Matta...
