Description: Hardcover. No. 86 of 650 of the large paper edition; Vol. I only from the four volume set. Small 4to, 10.5 x 8 inches, half brown morocco, five raised bands, handsome gilt compartments. Very good, light wear. With frontispiece in two states, hand-colored & uncolored and with other plates printed on velin. Pages slightly toned. Deckled edges, handsome typography and possibly that of Bruce Rogers who was associated with Houghton Mifflin at the time. Very good.
