This is a 120 mm scale painted model of a British Paratrooper from 1944 in Drop Order Sculpted by the very talented Maurice Correy for Mitches.  A Para in full drop gear, Dennison Smock including Full Parachute and kit leg bag, which was released to about 20 feet below the jumper, when deployed. There is also a gas Brassard attached to his left arm used to detect poison gas, the Brassard changes colour.

This piece is produced from a Kit by UK Company Mitches Military Models is readily available again and this piece has been constructed and displayed as per the standard kit and simulating the edge of a tarmac airfield.

The Base is a 75mm square plinth and the mounted piece is 165 mm to the top of his helmet to the foot of the base.   


Painted to a Good Standard, the figure has been sympathetically painted using acrylics and a slightly subdued colour scheme of a seasoned para and kit..
