*NOTE
– looking to sell most of my models, so stick round for new listings –
Some more expensive than others, why? Because they may have special
liveries, unique registrations, contributed to aviation achievements, or
like this one "highly sought after first Virgin Atlantic". ITM
Brief History:This was the very "First" Virgin Atlantic B747-400 G-VFAB. Delivered in April 1994 and flew for the British carrier until its retirement in Sept 2015.
*Lady Penelope was painted in this special livery in 2005 to celebrate Virgin's 21st Anniversary, she was subsequently renamed Birthday Girl.
On this livery they
enlarged the 'Virgin Girl' and placed her at the rear with the illusion
that the tail with the words Virgin is a flag which she is flying.
