Antique box, NOS new old stock Diamond Brand female cure. This company had an interesting history, earlier versions in tins were sold at apothecaries and said to contain Pennyroyal, which was a PURGE alternative for women when at such times was illegal. This is a later dated box, but also interesting how they removed the ingredients and advertised for monthly relief. Box measures 2.5 x 1.5 x 1 inches, great condition, very light wear, one stain on top. Purchased from the estate of a long-time pharmacy apothecary collector. Note: for display/collector use ONLY.
