VINTAGE Sharp Zaurus ZR-5000 PDA Personal Information Organizer WORKS GREAT!

This vintage Sharp Zaurus ZR-5000 PDA Organizer is in very good, if not excellent condition. I bought this ZR-5000 in the early 2000's, but due to my personal data management needs upgraded to a ZR-5800 the next month. So this Zaurus has been stored and unused since then. Because of that, it looks and performs "like new". The keyboard works fine, with no worn or loose keys. The screen has no dead spots or lines, the pen-enabled touch function is precise and accurate. The hinges work smoothly. The upper and lower halves of the case close together snugly, and the latch release button works fine. The battery compartment cover is a little stiff to remove, but the battery compartment itself is clean, with no signs of battery leakage or corrosion. The PC Card slot and its eject function work as they should. The computer link port and external power input port are both in excellent condition. An original Zaurus stylus is included, which fits snugly in the storage slot on the lower right front corner. Overall, there are little to no signs of wear. There are four small velcro tabs stuck to the case bottom, which were to help keep the Zaurus safely inside a zippered soft case (the case IS NOT included).  

This is an excellent example of a vintage handheld PDA that is still very capable of daily use. It's a model that was once very popular, and is still sought after by enthusiasts and collectors. I am only selling it because I need to downsize my collection of vintage, handheld electronic devices. Please give this ZR-5000 a good new home!
