Description: Ronald Reagan VIP Gift | Piece of White House/Oval Office Cork Floor from 1934
Contained within lucite is an original fragment of cork floor from the Oval Office that was installed in 1934, serving six presidents. The piece of oval office flooring was removed in 1969 when the floor of the oval office was renovated for President Richard Nixon. The inscription reads "This fragment of cork was part of the floor installed in The White House Oval Office in 1934. The floor supported six presidents of the United States before it was removed in 1969 - Ronald Reagan." In its original presentation case featuring the presidential seal on the cover and an image of the White House with inscription "The Oval Office / The White House."

The flooring (encased in lucite):3 1/2 inches x 3 inches
The case:  6 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches

Condition: Very good, vintage condition, as found. Some very light scratches to the bottom of case. Please see photos to best determine overall condition.
