Brand new and sealed but long retired. This is the first generation magnet. The magnet is in the 2x4 brick base, not in the minifigure. The minifigures detach from the base and are standard minifgs. I believe the torso is not glued to the legs as in some more recent iterations of magnets. Cardboard has some shelfwear as shown in photo. One of the many things my kids didn't get into.
