Rare solid silver smelling box

Description

This stylish smelling box with lush openwork decor with floral decorative elements and rocaille is made of very high quality. The breakthrough decor of the highest quality is purely handcrafted. The tin is gold-plated on the inside and is equipped with a plasticine that fits into the lid and closes the "holes" if necessary. The smelling box is made of solid silver and is probably from from Hanau, Germany around approx. 1900-1920. It can also be used to store sweeteners, tobacco, etc. suitable.

A great addition to any collection.

The tin is stamped with indistinct hallmarks, which for me are from Hanau from around. 1900 look. It is bindingly tested for silver.  Real solid silver is fully guaranteed!

She is approx. 8.5x6x1.5cm. large. The weight (without plastins made of unknown metal) is approx. 109 grams.

The box is in a well-kept, used condition with usual signs of wear and gilding on the inside. Not engraved (see photos).

A treasure for collectors and enthusiasts.

I have even more interesting pieces in the shop.
