It is an exceptional piece of art, perfect for anyone looking for an antique Asian/Oriental piece with a touch of history. It has a wonderful patina. Purchased from a Kyoto-based dealer approximately 15 years ago.

Measuring 63 x 32 x 32 cm, the basket's size is impressive, making it perfect as a table centrepiece in a contemporary home environment, or for displaying flowers in the style of ikebana.

Signed underneath, the work from the first half of the twentieth century and is a great representation of its country of origin. The basket is in excellent condition and an ideal addition to any antique collection or for use in home decor.
