This is a vintage 9ct yellow gold and ruby coiled snake ring, in a size M, US 6 1/4.

In 1840, Prince Albert designed a snake ring for Queen Victoria, two snakes wrapped round the finger in an enchanting symbol of eternal love. This made snake rings extremely popular during this time, and continue to be popular to this day.

The rubies are natural and measure around 1mm each. The ring measures around 2cm top to bottom at the front and the band is around 2mm at the back. It is in good overall condition and is fully hallmarked as pictured for Birmingham 1993. It weighs approximately 3g. It will come boxed, but not the box pictured.

Please check sizes and measurements are suitable before purchasing. All weights and measurements are approximate.
