For sale is this authentic copper coin from the 1200’s AH. This coin originated from North Africa (Morocco specifically). I believe the currency was measured in “Falus” when this piece was produced. This would have been used as currency by the people, despite its simple crude-looking appearance. This coin is decorated with the Star of David, and is a beautiful piece. It is relatively a heavyweight coin. Note that this is from the 1200’s AH, and not AD. The Islamic calendar is different than the calendar we commonly use in the west. Make sure you account for this difference when considering it’s age. This is an incredible piece, and would make a great addition to any collection! Don’t pass it up.
