Realistic appearing REPRODUCTION quality M1858 hat cord style as among other styles used from the American Civil War aka The War Between the States through post WWII. These reproductions are not typically seen for sale, as the less-expensive typical fake-looking reproduction hat cords are. These acorns, adjuster and cords are/is of white metal or aluminum wire strands that are anodized or colored gold and other fibers in the cord itself. The adjuster is slightly peaked in the center for reflecting better for parades, but when using for reenactments, you may want to dull the center a bit with a bit of antique gold paint and flat clear dabbed with a semi-dry brush, possibly helping as it has for me. I'll put other reproduction cords up soon that are fully oval without that minute peak. Time to time I may sell real M1858 bullion cords. 

If you want the Campaigner, Stitch-Counting Impression appearance of M1858 Hat Cord for your Persona to look the part better than the typical fake appearing hat cords, these may be considered. 

I’ll send your cords out to you once eBay forwards your money into my account and USPS scheduling picks up your cord. I have to go by their pickup schedule. I cannot drive anymore to the post office. eBay shows 2-day handling but please be patient, especially if I'm at the hospital for a bit. I never use foam peanuts, trash, or other annoying fillers like newspaper. 

I just use shipping paper/ and or plastic fillers, especially if it may rain in my area. 

Pet free home here, however, when I reuse boxes and their reused bags, paper and other non-peanut foam fillers as aforementioned, I cannot guarantee what kind of home they came from. 

Sometimes the fumes from other homes are not pleasant, sometimes they are fine, just as you know when you open a box and detect something. When I sell enough, I'll buy brand-new boxes to use.
