A Postmodern wooden tray produced by Manzoni Pietro.
Made in Italy, the rectangular tray features a colorful geometric design. Four yellow and red rods are joined by four red spheres. Two yellow handles are present on each end of the green finish tray. The serving tray is marked to the underside with the maker's mark and a “Made in Italy” sticker.
Measurements: 20”x 14.5” x 1.5”.
Manzoni Pietro is a family-run company in Bergamo, Italy, specialising in handmade woodware.
High quality hardwoods are used and each item is hand finished and firebranded 'M'.
Trays are in a striking range of colours, reminiscent of postmodern designs by Ettore Sottsass and the Memphis group. The water-based varnish finish gives the simply shaped wooden bowls and platters a particularly lovely sheen.
