Notice: The softness of polymer clay will be affected by the temperature and storage conditions in warehouse.

-How to soften clay?

1. If the clay still can be pinched, please try to knead it times until it become softer.

2. Slice clay into pieces and wrap the clay with plastic film, then soak it in warm water(100 - 140℉/40 - 60℃) for a while. The time is flexible according to the softness needed.

3. Slice clay into pieces and add some clay softener wait for a while until it can be kneaded and stretched. If there is no clay softener, oil is also substitutable.

-Clay is too soft to be sculpted.

If the clay is too soft, it will be difficult to be plasticized, which will also leave some bubbles or cannot harden after baking. Please roll the clay into slice and cover it with a piece of paper, then put a heavy object on it. After the excess oil being blotted out by paper, the clay will be become hard. The time is flexible according to the hardness needed.
