This is a hard-to-find set of iconic Dorothy Thorpe glasses in the Golden Band pattern.  There are six roly poly glasses and one champagne or tall sherbert.  I believe the gold trim is 22K gold or maybe 24K and were produced in the 1960's.  There are no chips or nicks but there are some scratches or marks which I have tried to capture those marks in the pictures.  One roly poly does have more scratches inside the rim as shown in the first two pictures.  One glass I did not get a picture of but it is in great condition.  The roly poly's are small standing 2.5" tall and in diameter at the opening.  The gold band is .5".  The champagne glass stands 6" and is 4.25" in diameter at the opening and 2 7/8" at the base.  The gold band is .75" or close to 1".  These are just perfect to add to your Dorothy Thorpe, mid-century modern or barware collection!  Thanks for looking and be sure to check out my shop, not2shabbyshop, for more fabulous finds!
