Rare, Picasso for Vollard (Suite), published in 1956 by Harry Abrams and printed in Germany by Verlag Gerd Hatje, Stuttgart. This is page 74 from the Picasso for Vollard book. It is an Original (1956) bookplate image from the Original 1930's etching. The image is titled, "Model and Surrealist Sculpture". Picasso produced the 100 etchings included in the The Vollard Suite between 1930-37 in which are depicted 3 of the most recurrent themes in his art: love, violence and artistic creation.
It is in Very Good Vintage condition with light toning.
1" Wide, Ribbed Silver Reverse moulding, acid free black mat and glazing are included in this listing.
Image opening measures 7 X 9 and is in Very Good condition.
Outside measure of the frame is 12 X 14 1/4 and is in Very Good to Excellent condition.
