Offered from a local NJ estate is an antique wood inkstand with drawer and squashed ball feet
1/2 hoop handle and ebonized highlights. Wood appears to be chestnut to me, but I'm no expert.
9 1/2" x 5 1/4" x 2 1/2" to top flat surface
Drawer has beveled bottom
Base is paper lined
There is a crack on top on right from edge of inkwell indent thru trim
wear to edges  on front top corners
very good for age!
The inkwell, however both have more damage!
See the many photos from every angle
One has a few nicks and hinge is slightly askew and should straighten well
The other has had a break in the hinge, repaired that shows open and closed and has
large chips on bottom where it was most likely dropped to cause the damage,
what looks like a crack in same area is actually glue residue, so integrity of body ok, just
the hinge and large chips on base, see pics.

Great old piece in good condition for age!
