The V-Flow was originally designed by John Cobb. High performance road and triathlon riders have certain equipment requirements dictated by their body position on the bike. There is a vast difference in the seating positions compared to a recreational rider. In the case of a triathlon bike, the rider is rotated much more forward, riding on a completely different part of the pelvis area. The design of the V-Flow is made to complement this style of riding with its narrower width and pressure relief channel.
