Description

If you are looking for a semi-hollow body, but like me don't really like the size of the 335 family, the 339 is right up your alley.  You get a great semi-hollow body tone along without an over sized body.

About this guitar:
This guitar came directly from Epiphone to my supplier, it has never been sold retail, the protective cover is still on the pickguard.  It was tested by factory authorized technicians and no issues were found, the electronics work as designed, the neck is straight with no buzz, and the set up is to factory specs. When we polished the guitar we found a few very small, light finish blemishes.  You can only see them if you are holding the guitar with the light at an angle.  I have included a picture pointing to the only one we found on the front on the upper bout but it is too light to show.

Here is what Epiphone says about the Inspired by Gibson ES-339:

Inspired by Gibson, Epiphone’s Semi-Hollow ES-339 is designed for guitarists seeking the tone and look of an ES-335 but in a slightly smaller, lighter version. With a hand-rolled mahogany neck for comfortable playing in any style, the ES-339 is equipped with a pair of Epiphone Alnico Classic Pro humbuckers for a versatile tone. A GraphTech NuBone, Grover Rotomatic tuners and Epiphone’s exclusive LockTone bridge and tailpiece provide tuning stability, precise intonation and increased sustain. For lovers of traditional style and sound, the Epiphone ES-339 won’t disappoint.

This guitar weighs 7.7 pounds.

FAQ, frequently asked questions

Why are instruments sent to a refurbisher?  The instrument could be a discontinued model, have a finish imperfection, or need a minor repair.

Who refurbishes your instruments?  All of my instruments come from the largest and best refurbisher in the country, where any issue found is corrected by a factory trained and authorized luthier.

Does a refurbished instrument have the manufacturer warranty?  No, any instrument sent to a refurbisher, regardless of the reason it was sent there, no longer carries the manufacturer warranty.

Will I need to set up my instrument when I receive it?  All of my instruments have been set-up before shipping, so most are ready to play out of the box.  However some instruments may need a minor adjustment after shipping due to changes in temperature, humidity, and  getting bumped around during shipping.

What identifies an instrument as being refurbished?  Most refurbished instruments have a small used stamp on the back of the head stock and are issued a new serial number.  This is to prevent an unethical dealer from concealing the fact that the instrument was sent to a refurbisher.
