Description:   

Offered is a Verified Rare Early Manufacture of the Original Vintage Delta Dolce Vita Mini Fountain Pen.

The pen has been verified as a very early manufacture by a senior executive of Delta pens.

After viewing photos Delta has confirmed that this offered Mini “is certainly an original and, nowadays, very rare fountain pen”

The Mini was first manufactured after the success of the limited edition Delta Colosseum Orange and Black pen. This Mini is confirmed as one of those early manufactured pens.

In 1996 Delta used their old logos, as well as 18k Gold Nibs from Brok (Germany).  These are evident in the photos of this Mini.

Size is 4 1/2  inches. Leatherette felt lined Delta box included (not vintage).

Materials:

The black cap has a Sterling Siver band which reproduces a decoration from Greco-Roman frescoes in ancient Pompeii.  Italian craftsmen expertly engrave these solid 925 Sterling Silver bands.  Cap screws off.

The finial has Old Logo and is Sterling Silver.

The barrel is hand-turned from a solid bar of brilliant yellow-orange pearlized resin.

Nib is 18K Gold – Fine, Bork Germany with Old Logo. Uses Delta or international cartridges only.

Tested with Watermans serenity blue ink…. Write beautifully.

The clip has a rotating wheel to facilitate insertion of the pen into your pocket.
