This is a rare Swan Mabie Todd SM112B 83, blue snakeskin self filler “lady”. This pen was produced for a short time in 1939-1940. The pen is part of Swan’s “Lady” B size new coloured lever fill range . This pen came with an unmarked taper clip similar to Waterman’s range of pens at the time making it dissimilar to most the other Swan models which had their logo on the clip

This is a beautiful pen in outstanding condition. The nib is a 14k gold number 1 which lays down a soft wet line. This is a must for any Mabie Todd collector as you do not see this model very often.

Please be sure to look at all the images to enable you to decide on condition for yourself.

Following feedback from International buyers who say that the G.S.P. is too expensive  I am no longer adding eBay’s Global Shipping Programme as standard. I will charge a flat rate of £14 for tracked and insured International postage from Royal Mail. If anybody would prefer the G.S.P. please contact me.

PLEASE NOTE: ANY TAXES AND DUTY THAT MAY BE CHARGED ON ARRIVAL TO THE DESTINATION COUNTRY ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER.

Please Note: This pen is a lovely, working example of a vintage pen. This pen may have micro scratches, dings or knocks but will write beautifully. To quote the french writer and philosopher Voltaire (1694-1778) " To hold a pen is to be at war". Regard any slight imperfections as the battle scars of the Victor.
