We developed this product in hopes that even people who want to keep a pet but can't, due to animal allergies, a living environment that prohibits pets, or a busy work schedule that prevents them from taking care of their pets, can experience the joy and healing experience of interacting with animals. did. This robot, which was created by focusing on the tail as a communication tool that does not require words, uses the viewer's imagination to create a simulated emotional exchange, creating a soothing effect similar to being with an animal.

Qoobo wants the user to use it to expand their imagination, so we intentionally removed animal-like elements other than the tail to create a design that leaves a "blank space." People naturally imagine and fill in the "blank space." I thought that with that imagination, Qoobo could transform itself into a dog or a cat at will. In addition, by focusing on the tail, which is a communication tool that animals have, we believe that communication that does not require words will be possible, so we purposefully do not incorporate elements such as words, and instead focus on ``what is communication with animals?'' pursued. This way of thinking about Qoobo's design is something we always keep in mind as we continue to make prototypes. When determining the size and weight, we hand-sewed many prototypes and examined them while actually placing them on our laps.
