Columbus Les Paul 1970s Rare Vintage Cream model MIJ.

Stunning example of this rare Columbus LP variant.

This is the higher end range they made with the large lozenge inlay on the headstock, the inlaid logo as opposed to a transfer, and Grover-style tuners.

Over the years, the original white finish has yellowed into a gorgeous cream colour. Couple of dings and a few spots here and there are shown in the photos. These are to be expected because of the guitars age and being played in a band. Otherwise, it's very clean

Hardware has nicely oxidised on it, from gold to chrome in some places, adding to the guitar's bucket-load of vintage mojo.

My husband played this guitar in a band  many years ago, so it is a very reluctant sale. When it was last played, the sound absolutely rocked.

The guitar has been stored in a guitar case for the last 30 years and not played. We no longer have an amp, so it's not been tested recently.

As far as we are aware, there are no issues with the guitar.  There is the opportunity to try out the guitar if you can bring an amplifier and jack leads to Ely.

New set of strings just put on.

Weighs in at a meaty 3.9kg/8.6lbs

There are other cheaper Columbus Les Pauls out there. The price reflects the quality and the rarity of this particular variant.

Sold as seen.

Please do ensure to view all photos as this forms part of the description.

Would prefer collection as it's a big bulky item and might get damaged in the post, but I will post at buyers' risk.

I'm having a clear-out. Please take a look at my other items.
